Kapital Momotaro sneakers in olive green
Sneakers from the "Momotaro" collection by Kapital dedicated to the hero of one of the oldest traditional Japanese tales. With a slightly retro style, these shoes are rich in details and composed of different fabrics: upper in silk satin with applied parts in smooth leather and suede; tone-on-tone olive green cotton laces, decorated heels. In particular, the suede patches sewn on the heels represent a peach, on the left shoe, and the character of Momotaro coming out of the fruit, on the right shoe. "Momotaro" means "Peach Boy" in Japanese, since the famous local hero was born from a fruit of the peach tree. The shock-absorbing insole and the outsole in non-slip molded rubber are in a bright indigo blue color, the iconic color of the Japanese brand.
Composition: silk satin, leather, suede, rubber
The brand Kapital takes its name from the city of Kojima, also called the Japanese capital of denim. Established at the end of the eighties, Kapital jeans were the initially focus of the clothing brand, then over the years Kapital made its collection of clothing items bigger with new total-look creations, unpredictable and far from the fashion archetypes but at the same time always studied and produced with unequaled perfectionism. To date, Kapital is considered one of the pillars of Japanese fashion sold in few selected stores in the world and distributed online by few European online web shops. Kapital jeans, scarves, hats, pants, T-shirts and jackets are true masterpieces of Japanese creativity.
