The Japanese paper fiber used by M.&Kyoko is completely natural. It derives from the processing of Abaca leaves (plant of the Banana family), or from the cellulose of conifers or, sometimes, from the mixing of both. Japanese paper is known for its tear resistance, water resistance, and durability. Due to its decidedly versatile nature, it is used in numerous sectors: publishing, furniture, clothing, construction.
