Black vegetable tanned leather sandals by Trippen from Traces collection. Upper with two adjustable bands with buckle; fixed back band. Footbed covered in leather. Raised insole. Molded rubber sole with concrete gray plateau.
The innovative features of this sole are the composition and design: the rubber used to make it is made up of 30% recycled materials deriving from production waste. The design recalls the theme of recycling thanks to the grainy structure of the bottom of the sole.
Always attentive to the environmental issue and the sustainability of its products, Trippen also wanted to address the issue of the dispersion of microplastics in the environment: the abrasion of the soles of these sandals is 34.53% biodegradable within 6 months according to the UNI EN standard. ISO 14855 in the absence of phytotoxicity.
