COTTLE

COTTLE (JP) at Lazzari Store
Cottle is a Japanese clothing brand established in 2015 in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture—the heart of "Made in Japan" denim production. It was founded by designer Toshiaki Watanabe, who realized a childhood dream: creating garments and launching a textile company. Kurashiki boasts a rich artisanal heritage, and it is precisely this unique character that inspires the Cottle brand. The company prioritizes top-quality raw materials and yarns, sustainable production, and traditional dyeing techniques using natural dyes. The result is a line of comfortable, refined, and durable garments. Fabrics used in each collection are reimagined and updated rather than being discarded after a single season. Cottle blends technical functionality with Japanese design rooted in traditional craftsmanship. The entire production process—from initial concept to finished product—takes place in-house. Cottle’s style leans towards Western casual and workwear aesthetics.
