Parajumpers was conceived by Massimo Rossetti, a designer who imported American brands into the Italian market.
The project that inspired Parajumpers came into being when Rossetti met a member of the 210th Rescue Squadron service, a group specialised in search and rescue missions under extreme conditions in the wildest, remotest and most dangerous places in the world.
The result is a highly innovative collection of masterpieces jackets and coats, characterised by super technologic elements, first of all meant to be functional. The typical signature of this brand is the stylish PJS patch on the upper left sleeve near the shoulder.
Parajumpers is famous most of all for its winter jackets, featuring a detachable padded lining and a hood with a fur trim: they’re therefore warm and, at the same time, functional, due to their pockets, designed to carry smartphones, iPods and GPS devices. The Masterpiece series with items such as as Gobi, Kodiak, Long Bear, Portland, Anchorage is the demonstration of PJS experience.
On our website you can choose among a huge selection of men’s and women’s garments by Parajumpers, including jackets, as well as down jackets, parkas, coats and sweaters made of an extremely hard-wearing nylon that will let you face even the coldest weather with a great look. PJS clothing is also super lightweight realized specifically for the harsh Winter and the freezing cold of the Arctic Pole.
Ape S.P.A. and Rossetti have been able to produce each year a collection of high-tech clothing items for mountain excursionists adapted to the streetwear style. They also have promoted the brand with spectacular initiatives, such as Stories by Parajumpers: a collection of cinematographic videos of people living in extreme environments facing the hardest weather conditions.
You can watch on Youtube the full Stories episodes playlist. Some examples are: Alaskan Bush Pilot, The Art of Kayak Building, The Call of The Mountains.
