Filippo Sorcinelli Trompette 8 perfume extract 50ml
It is part of the "Extrait de Musique" collection, inspired by the musical registers of the Great Organ of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. The intent of the perfumer from the Marche is to describe the sounds of the majestic Parisian organ in this series of incenses, through a synesthetic process. In the case of Trompette 8 the transposition from sound to scent occurs for the trumpet register, one of the oldest known organ registers (dating back to around the 1st century BC).
It is a metallic register like that of real wind trumpets and, therefore, also of Trompette 8: a peppery and spicy incense scent with marked metallic notes. The cap of the bottle, as for all the perfumes in the "Extrait de Musique" collection, is the exact replica of the handle of the Notre-Dame organ registers. Even the wooden box that houses the perfume recalls the enormous sounding boxes of the Parisian organ.
