Upper's assembly of Botta-S Laccetto shoes takes place through a manual modelling according to an antique technique of water poking and stretching. Afterwards the footwear is air-dried while held in place with a shoe-stretcher. In the end the upper is wet dyed and the sole nailing is done by hand as well.All of these peculiar manufacturing processes makes the product impossible to produce for a shoe factory and they are the guarantee of a pair of shoes where every detail is authentically handmade.
