Filippo Sorcinelli Né il Giorno Né l'Ora exrait de parfum 100ml
It is the 12th perfume from Sorcinelli's UNUM collection, this time inspired by a passage from the Gospel of Matthew. This is the famous parable of the 10 virgins. Five of them, the so-called "wise ones", took care to set aside some oil to light their lamps before the groom's arrival. The others, the "foolish" ones, didn't do it and had to go look for him later. So, returning home and finding the door closed, they asked to come in but were told: “Truly I say to you: I don't know you. Keep watch, therefore, because you know neither the day nor the hour."
In Sorcinelli's interpretation, and on the basis of this parable, the perfume extract Né il Giorno Nor l'Ora delves into the depths of one of the most feared and intimate emotions of human beings: fear. The extrait de parfum, however, does not limit itself to representing a similar state of mind in its many facets. It goes further: it plays on the relationship between fear and the need to face it and above all to overcome it to finally be free. The packaging itself is a material metaphor of this concept: the black rubberized casing of the bottle must in fact be cut at the base of the cap using the small scissors contained in the fragrance box.
The olfactory notes are unexpectedly sweet and welcoming, almost exorcising compared to those hidden and more personal fears that push us to seek freedom and opportunities for liberation. The amber and woody scents are mixed with marine, floral and citrus scents. An enveloping and medium intense mix, just enough to leave behind a light and attractive scented trail.
