Inspired by the relics of the Passion of Christ kept in the baroque Church of the Cross in Senigallia, the perfumer Filippo Sorcinelli from the Marche creates a new mysterious, mystical and fascinating fragrance called Reliqvia. It is part of the "Unum" collection, dedicated to the image of the Passion of Jesus.
The relics are traces, signs of prodigious lives, all that remains of extraordinary creatures, with an immortal spirit. These, remains, these sacred objects venerated over the centuries, convey to us the idea that, despite the passage of time, anyone of us can, if he wants, leave a testimony of his life, of who he was, of what he did, of its passage on this planet.
Reliqvia is a strong, complex, exciting perfume in which patchouli, incense, cashmere wood, sandalwood and guaiac are mixed and harmonized. It softens but not too much with a whiff of orange blossom, Scots pine, cloves, mastic and amyris. The finish is a cloud of blackcurrant, sweet orange, nutmeg, notes of smoke and tobacco.
