SAK (IT) at Lazzari Store
The Japanese designer Ryusaku Hiruma, who graduated from Cordwainers College in London, moved to Florence to found the SAK brand and a workshop for men's handmade shoes. SAK shoes are 100% Made in Italy, hand-made directly by Hiruma in respect of the ancient Tuscan tanning tradition. Every detail is taken care of to the millimeter so that the production of a pair of SAK shoes can take up to 30 hours of work, including the manual cutting of the laces. SAK shoes are thus real jewels of Italian craftsmanship: Ryusaku Hiruma cuts and sews leather and natural leather by hand to create exclusive collections not only of men's shoes but also of bags, belts and small leather goods. Hiruma collaborated with Opening Ceremony and Converse.
